Solemnisation Day

It was an amazing day. Despite the rain, we have so many guests, friends, family and relatives that turned up for our ROM event. We were really happy to see them there to share with us this occasion.

Even though the ceremony took only 15mins, we spent quite a long day preparing for the event itself, setting up the place with balloons and decorating the place with rose petals, flowers.. Everything that will recreate the theme of a modern vintage romance. We were happy with what we did. It was hard work but it paid off. Everyone was impressed with what we did and also the place. I am thankful that a good friend of mine came down to help us out.

It does feel a littl surreal but I realised this is something which we both wanted and we didn’t feel any nervousness or jitters at all. We were smiling at each other so much during the entire solemnisation and in my mind all i could think of is, I can’t wait to spend our happy times together on this lifelong journey together. It is a little sad that I am leaving tonight but looking on the bright side, she will join me soon.

I am going to miss her alot. I will be there to setup the place and make it is nice and pretty when she comes. It will be a whole new exciting chapter for the both of us and I am looking forward to it.

It is with heavy heart that I am leaving Singapore tonight.
