Spirited Away

I am glad I went to the driving range this morning. It has been a long time and for once, I enjoyed my session there for it seems like my swing is more consistent now. The next step is to maintain this consistency and I will be invincible on the green!!! *yeah right*

It was good fun and I enjoyed a little workout. It was not long after I left that the skies began to turn which means, it was going to rain… or just glooomy and sad. Whichever the case maybe.

For me, I supposed things turned a little sour and I got slightly depressed for reasons I shall not say. Sigh. It is really amazing how one’s mood can change after a while. I tried to be logical about it but after a while when I thought about it, my heart was aching with pain that it became unbearable. However, it was not before missy j was here and we had a little chit chat that made things better… it was tough but I am trying, trying very very much to be positive about everything.

We watched Heroes season ep 2 and 3. IT WAS AWESOME!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. Can’t get enough of it. New characters, new plot, new powers!! We wanted to continue with ep 4 but we had to stop coz missy j had to head back for dinner. What a pity.

Sigh. I miss her though. Things don’t feel the same when she is not around.

Tai Chi Master

I started learning tai chi today!!!

Everyone had an almost disbelief look on their face when I told them about it. Haha.. Guess most people have this impression that this is something for the old folks but it is not eh. Not after I experienced it myself first hand. It is an art. a skill that requires much training and practice. There are 108 different forms in tai chi and it takes a lot of effort to master them all.

I only learnt the basics today and it already got me breaking out in sweats!

Oooohhh.. I downloaded Radiohead’s album from their website!! =) In Rainbows. Their double CD certainly looks very tempting but it will cost me $40 pounds!! That’s like SGD $120!!!

I am sooo upset. I bought a phone last week and I thought I got myself a great deal but never did I realised Starhub sent me another phone upgrade voucher of $100!!!!! Bahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. I want to kill myself!!!!

Why didn’t they sent it earlier and had to do it 2 weeks after I got my phone! This is ridiculous!!!

So upset so upset.. and when I contacted Starhub they told me that I can’t use it anymore since I have already re-contracted my line.

BAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I had the most amazing japanese dining experience of my life last night. I have never tasted sashimi that is so fresh and sooo goood. I thought the ones we had at Tomo Fine dining last Tuesday was like the best but last night, Sushi Yoshida changed all that. I am really glad that we tried that place… coz missy j mentioned it a couple of times before.

Everything was so good and well prepared. You can tell that everything is of a differently quality. Even the sushi rice, the texture is so different from the ones I had at other japanese places. We also had sake straight off a ‘masu’. A special squarish-crate used for drinking sake and it is suppose to bring out the aroma of it. The sake was good but we then had another type of sake, courtesy of this indian man (but canadian)… very candid and generous who offered us Yamahi Namasaki. Supposedly one of the best *also most expensive* sake around.  IT WAS GOOD. I just couldn’t stop telling missy j how good it was…

We sat there for quite a loonnng while. Drinking and him sharing with us his in-depth knowledge of sake. It was really enjoyable and I’m glad we met him. To have the opportunity to taste such premium sake and learn more about it.

Honestly, I think I had slightly tooo much sake… and next thing I know,  I felt like I was on a high and next thing I know, I don’t really remember much of last night. Just patches of places and people I met. I know that I was at MOS after that… for a short while… met some of missy j’s colleagues…

I woke up with a splitting headache… and I am still in a little bit of daze as I am typing this. I can’t even type with my head straight….
