Lesson Learnt
Never ever drink tea that is left out in the cold for too long… it simply wrecks your tummy and churns it inside out. argh.

Ok, meeting was over and it was boring as hell. Was tired and my mind was thinking about the numbers I had to tie. It is quite a pain and here I am, back at the fish tank, starting my 2nd shift.
Just had a reallly “nutritious” meal for takeaway – Mushroom Swiss Double. So much goodness in it eh. And as I was walking back to the fish tank, I realised everyone was walking in an opposite direction from me. When I reached the lift lobbies, I had a choice to take whichever lift I want because all of them were opened and ready to serve. I took the lift up, nearest to the entrance and made my way up to the 22nd flr. The jingle of the TV commercial accompanied my trip.
I feel a little lost, in fact. I feel like a solitary figure out here on my own, figuring out the bits and pieces. How long more can I endure, How much more can I go….
“One small step for a man but one giant leap for mankind….. ” – Neil Armstrong, 1969.
I couldn’t believe it. Usually I’m not the kind of person who shops on impulse but today.. just today, it was different. I was frustrated with work. The figures can’t seemed to match the statements and I was stuck. I did not know how to proceed further. That was when I decided to stop working and go for some shopping @ Marina Sq. Yes… I had to take a train out but it did not matter. So first stop was TopMan, tried the belt, fitted me but the workmanship was crappy so decided not to get it. Still eyeing the kaki jacket but it was like $129. Geee…. too pricey even though I have 20% disc coz it is my birthday. Hmmm…
So I ended up at Zara again…. and came out with a belt and a pair of boxer briefs. Didn’t give much thought about it when I was paying but subsequently it did. Felt a slight pinch as reality bites me. hahaha. oh well, at least I know I will make use of them.
And concidentally, I bumped into YY at Mango. (I was with my female colleagues) I was quite surprise when I heard a girl calling my name. I have not seen her for agessssssss…. about a year I supposed. Still as dressy as ever and she did not look like she was working. More like heading for some fashion parade. But she said she was and having a loooonnnng lunch, thus taking some time out to shop. Lucky girl eh.
Anyway, I am now feeling sleepy after the Hot Mexican Wrap from O’Briens. Gosh…. *wake up wake up. Still, I’m excited about wearing my new belt tomorrow! woohoo.
I m going casual.
I have always hear about this 5 love languages and it is interesting that there is a short quiz for it. Well this is not the definitive guide but I guess it’s an indicator of what it is like of everyone…
My primary love language is probably
Quality Time
with a secondary love language being
Physical Touch.

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don’t understand our partner’s requirements, or even our own. We all have a “love tank” that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

Its time for exorcism!!! Get rid of the old and welcome the new. I can do it!
Sometimes living in a world of fear is not a good thing. It destroys the soul. It destroys the mind. It is totally unhealthy and makes it a living hell. What’s worse when it takes a toll on the body, it no longer becomes a pain-free experience. In fact, the mind can no longer differentiate what is real and what is not. Simple as that. Heading down the line of impending doom and self-destruction.
What a way to go.
I hereby declare, I am a fully paid up member of the Couple Club and enjoying every minute of it.
Interesting side notes:
I came across this article where a man in Bangkok marries a twin! Damn… he is one lucky bastard… hahhaa…
Finally, for all soccer fans who enjoy the adrenalin rush in scoring penalties, check out this cool flash puma where you pitted against against Buffon (Italian keeper). Waaayyy fun especially when you slot the ball into the back of the net. Good for those times where you need to destress…
From “Brand New Friend”:
“If Eskimos can come up with fifty words for snow because it’s a matter of life or death, why is it that we’ve only got one word for ‘love’?”
