Looking back the years

It has been quite some time I last visited my blog and I am surprise that nothing has changed. The blog is still here! It stood the test of time and pictures that were taken several years ago looked like they were taken from yesterday. All my archives over the years. All the stuff I have written are still there. Not a single word more, Not a single word less. It was quite amusing and interesting to read back some of the entries and the kind of stuff I wrote. I was enjoying every moment of it although it brought up mixed feelings when I was reading about relationships.

The most surprising reaction was, “Did I really write this?”, “What was I thinking when I wrote that!?” It was quite nostalgic reading all the past entries as you clicked month after month, going back in time. It was a walk down memory lane and revisiting all memories. Ups and Downs. Sadness and Happiness. It was a bittersweet moment especially looking at past pictures and reading the stuff that I wrote for my loved ones. Nothing can ever re-create those unique experience again. It will only live as memories, in pictures, in words, in cyberspace…

It’s time to pick up the keyboard once again…

  • I got married this year to a beautiful wife. Starting a chapter in life together.
  • I was working very hard so much so that this blog was neglected
  • I was busy preparing for the wedding
  • I went back to Sydney again for a holiday
  • I got an iPad. There is a WordPress app too. Nice. Will try that out.
  • I found a new job and will be moving to the new role soon. Excited!
  • Our apartment is going to be ready too and looking forward to reno/furnishing the place up.

Exciting times and personally, 2011 has been a good to me.. so many “new” and so much to look forward to. Thank god for all the good things happening in my life and how ironic life took a sudden twist on its own.

It has been a while since I last posted here. So much has changed since then. Although WordPress has evolved, it seems that it has been overtaken by the emergence of facebook and twitter. The new social media platform. I spent alot of time on them and they have certainly change the way how my life operates. Even the recent General Election… which was dubbed a watershed election saw the various political parties made use of facebook extensively to carry out their campaigns.

It is nice to be back here again and I hope to put in some updates about my daily on-goings of my life. Something more elaborate and detailed instead of just 140 words /status updates. :)
